Proton Competition is returning to Sebring International Raceway for the fourth consecutive season aiming for glory in both the GTP and GTD Pro categories at the 12 Hours of Sebring.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tristan Vautier, Nicol\u00e1s Pino and Neel Jani will be teaming up in the #5 Mustang Sampling Porsche 963 for the race, which marks round two of the 2025 Michelin Endurance Cup. In GTD Pro, Claudio Schiavoni, Matteo Cressoni and Richard Lietz will be competing for honours in the #20 Proton Competition Porsche 911 GT3 R.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The team has a long and successful history of racing at the historic road course in Florida. In fact, Proton Competition\u2019s first win at one of the United States\u2019 premier endurance races dates all the way back to 2012. In that year\u2019s 12 Hours \u2013 the inaugural race of the newly created FIA World Endurance Championship \u2013 Christian Ried, Gianluca Roda and Paolo Ruberti took an unforgettable class victory in the #88 Team Felbermayr-Proton Porsche 911 GT3 RSR (997).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Other highlights include the three editions of the FIA WEC\u2019s 1000 Miles of Sebring between 2019 and 2023, which yielded another class win in GTE Am (2019) as well as a second-place finish in 2023.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The race is due to start on 15 March at 10:10 local time. Fans can catch all the action live and uninterrupted on IMSA\u2019s YouTube channel<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
