Proton Competition heads to the fourth round of the FIA World Endurance Championship, the 24 Hours of Le Mans (14 to 15 June), brimming with confidence \u2013 and fully aware of the challenge ahead. The team will take on the season\u2019s most prestigious race with an impressive five-car line-up spanning all three classes. With more than 300,000 fans expected to attend, the 2025 edition promises to deliver.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Leading the charge is the #99 Porsche 963, as Proton Competition once again sets its sights on overall honours at the world\u2019s most iconic endurance race. Facing fierce factory-backed opposition in the top-tier Hypercar class, drivers Neel Jani, Nicolas Pino, and Nicol\u00e1s Varrone will be relying on their skill and experience to rise to the challenge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Ford marks the second year of its return to GT racing at Le Mans, with Proton Competition fielding two Mustang LMGT3 entries in the fiercely competitive GT3 category. At the wheel of the #77 car are Bernardo Sousa, Ben Tuck, and Ben Barker, while Stefano Gattuso, Giammarco Levorato, and Dennis Olsen will pilot the #88 entry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Alongside the full-season FIA WEC entries are two Oreca 07 LMP2 cars, usually campaigned in the European Le Mans Series. The #9 Iron-Lynx Proton entry will be driven by regulars Jonas Ried and Mac\u00e9o Capietto, joined at Le Mans by Frenchman Reshad De Gerus. In the #11 Proton Competition car, Giorgio Roda, Ren\u00e9 Binder, and Bent Viscaal will share driving duties.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Germany, all the action \u2013 starting Wednesday \u2013 will be broadcast on Eurosport and NITRO. For international audiences, coverage will be available via FIA WEC TV<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
